The KOZO 904L Stainless Steel Sleeved Plug Valve is intended for corrosive chemical and process services where a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel body and PTFE sleeve sealing are required. The sleeve isolates the plug from the body and provides the primary sealing interface for quarter-turn operation.
Why 904L Stainless Steel?
904L / UNS N08904 is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel containing elevated nickel, chromium and molybdenum with copper additions. It is used in a range of acid and chloride-containing process environments where conventional 316L may not provide sufficient corrosion resistance. Final suitability depends on concentration, temperatur, pressure and the complete valve metallurgy.
