The KOZO 904L Stainless Steel Sleeved Plug Valve is intended for corrosive chemical and process services where a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel body and PTFE sleeve sealing are required. The sleeve isolates the plug from the body and provides the primary sealing interface for quarter-turn operation.
Why 904L Stainless Steel?
904L / UNS N08904 is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel containing elevated nickel, chromium and molybdenum with copper additions. It is used in a range of acid and chloride-containing process environments where conventional 316L may not provide sufficient corrosion resistance. Final suitability depends on concentration, temperatuur, pressure and the complete valve metallurgy.

Selection Notes
904L material selection should be based on the actual chemical concentration, temperatuur, pressure and expected contaminants. PTFE sleeve temperature and chemical compatibility must also be checked against the process medium.
