Product Overview
The KOZO Monel 400 Forged Floating Ball Valve is designed for marine, seawater and corrosive process services where a nickel-copper alloy is specified. The reference product family uses UNS N04400 / Monel 400 pressure-containing components with a floating-ball structure and Monel K500 stem options.
The floating-ball design provides compact quarter-turn isolation and is suitable for small- and medium-bore applications. Seat materials and end connections should be selected according to pressure, temperatur, media and project piping requirements.
Why Monel 400?
Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy widely used in marine and chemical environments. It offers useful corrosion resistance in many seawater and process applications, but actual performance depends on flow conditions, temperatur, aeration and the possibility of crevice or stagnant-water corrosion.
