1. Structural Features: A fixed ball valve is a ball valve with a fixed shaft. Fixed ball valves are mainly used for high-pressure, تطبيقات ذات قطر كبير. Depending on the installation of the valve seat seal ring, fixed ball valves can have two structures: a valve seat with a front seal on the ball and a valve seat with a rear seal on the ball.
2. Integral Structure: Features include full-bore operation, emergency sealing, and fire resistance.
3. Full Bore: The valve flow passage diameter matches the pipe’s inner diameter, facilitating pipeline cleaning.
4. Blockage and Drainage: When the valve is closed, the upstream and downstream valve seats block the flow, allowing accumulated material in the valve body cavity to drain. The drainage device has the following functions:
① Pre-checks for valve seat leakage or damage;
② Reduces valve contamination during media changes;
③ Allows replacement of the valve stem packing gland when the valve is fully open or fully closed under operating pressure. (As shown in Figure 5, the drain device is a drain plug.)
5. Automatic Pressure Relief: When the medium stagnating in the valve cavity experiences an abnormal temperature rise due to increased temperature, the safety valve installed on the valve seat or valve body can automatically relieve pressure.
