The KOZO CF8M Self-Cleaning Knife Gate Valve is designed for slurry, wastewater, pulp, mining and other solids-containing process services where a thin gate and open internal flow path help reduce material accumulation. The self-cleaning geometry is intended to limit buildup around the gate travel area during operation.

Seat and Blade Selection
Seat material and blade metallurgy should be selected according to abrasion, chemical compatibility, temperature and required leakage performance. The allowable temperature of an elastomer or polymer seat may be lower than that of the CF8M body.
Actuation Options
Pneumatic cylinders are often selected for frequent operation and remote control. Electric or hydraulic actuators can be supplied for large sizes or project-specific automation requirements. Limit switches, solenoid valves and filter regulators can be added as required.
