Product Overview
The KOZO Hastelloy C276 Floating Ball Valve is intended for highly corrosive chemical and industrial process services where a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy is required. The reference product family uses Hastelloy C276 / UNS N10276 pressure-containing components and a compact floating-ball construction for reliable quarter-turn isolation.
Because the ball is free to move slightly downstream under line pressure, sealing load is transferred to the downstream seat. This makes the floating-ball design compact and well suited to small and medium valve sizes.
Why Hastelloy C276?
Hastelloy C276 is a corrosion-resistant nickel alloy widely used in aggressive chemical environments. It is selected for applications involving acids, chlorides and other media that may exceed the corrosion resistance of conventional stainless steels. Final material selection must still consider concentration, temperatuur, druk, aeration and the complete valve metallurgy.
