Product Overview
The KOZO Hastelloy C276 Floating Ball Valve is intended for highly corrosive chemical and industrial process services where a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy is required. The reference product family uses Hastelloy C276 / UNS N10276 pressure-containing components and a compact floating-ball construction for reliable quarter-turn isolation.
Because the ball is free to move slightly downstream under line pressure, sealing load is transferred to the downstream seat. This makes the floating-ball design compact and well suited to small and medium valve sizes.
Why Hastelloy C276?
Hastelloy C276 is a corrosion-resistant nickel alloy widely used in aggressive chemical environments. It is selected for applications involving acids, chlorides and other media that may exceed the corrosion resistance of conventional stainless steels.
