The KOZO F316L Forged Globe Valve is designed for compact small-bore high-pressure corrosive service where controlled shut-off or throttling is required. The forged construction provides a compact pressure body, while the globe-style plug and seat allow regulation within the limits of the selected trim.
Why F316L?
ASTM A182 F316L is a forged molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless-steel grade widely used in chemical and process piping. The low-carbon composition can be beneficial for welded assemblies and corrosion resistance in suitable environments.

Selection Notes
For throttling service, pressure drop, velocity, cavitation and trim erosion should be reviewed. Temperature capability depends on the complete pressure class, packing and trim system rather than the body material alone.

FAQ
Can this valve be used only for isolation?
No. Globe valves can also be used for flow regulation when the trim and pressure-drop conditions are suitable.
