The KOZO 904L Stainless Steel Swing Check Valve is designed for corrosive chemical and acid-handling systems requiring automatic backflow prevention and UNS N08904 / 904L construction.
Why 904L?
904L is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel containing elevated nickel, chromium and molybdenum with copper additions. It is used in selected acid and chloride-containing environments where conventional 316L may not provide sufficient corrosion margin.

Selection Notes
Material suitability depends on concentration, temperature, pressure and contaminants. Valve orientation, disc travel and minimum flow should also be considered for stable operation.
