Product Overview
The KOZO Alloy 20 Triple Offset Butterfly Valve is designed for corrosive chemical and industrial isolation service where Alloy 20 construction and metal-seated triple-offset geometry are required. The third offset creates a cam-like sealing motion that minimizes rubbing between the disc seal and seat during most of the stroke.
Why Alloy 20?
Alloy 20 is used in selected sulfuric-acid and chemical environments where improved resistance over conventional stainless steels is required. Final suitability depends on concentration, température, contaminants and the complete valve material combination.
Key Design Features
- Triple-offset geometry: Reduced sliding contact and wear.
- Alloy 20 body/trim options: For selected corrosive chemical service.
- Metal-seat configuration: Suitable for severe service and elevated temperature.
- API 609 design: Reference butterfly-valve standard.
- Manual or automated actuation: Gear, pneumatic or electric packages available by configuration.
