Product Overview
The KOZO Alloy 20 Globe Valve is designed for selected acid and corrosive chemical services requiring controlled shut-off or throttling and Alloy 20 construction. The globe-style plug and seat provide more controllable flow regulation than a gate valve and can be configured for manual or automated operation.
Why Alloy 20?
Alloy 20 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy system containing molybdenum and copper. It is commonly considered for certain sulfuric-acid and chemical-processing duties where conventional stainless steels may not provide sufficient corrosion resistance. Cast bodies may use ASTM A351 CN7M, while wrought and forged components use the applicable Alloy 20 درجة.

Selection Notes
Material compatibility and throttling conditions should be evaluated together. High pressure drop may require special trim to control cavitation, flashing, erosion or excessive velocity. Alloy 20 is not universally suitable for all acid concentrations and temperatures.
How to Specify
Please provide size, pressure class, medium, concentration, flow rate, inlet/outlet pressure, درجة حرارة, body/trim material, end connection, operator or actuator and required testing.

Is Alloy 20 always better than 316L?
No. Alloy selection depends on the actual chemistry, concentration and temperature. Alloy 20 is considered where its corrosion profile better matches the service.
