The hard-seal eccentric hemispherical valve utilizes an eccentric valve body, eccentric ball, and valve seat. As the valve stem rotates, it automatically centers itself along a common trajectory, tightening further during closure to achieve a perfect seal. The valve ball and seat are completely separated, eliminating wear on the sealing ring and overcoming the problem of constant wear between the sealing surface and the seat in traditional ball valves. Non-metallic elastic material is embedded in the metal seat, providing excellent protection for the metal surface of the valve seat. This product is particularly suitable for media such as steel, aluminum, fibers, small solid particles, pulp, coal ash, and petroleum gas.
Features of the Hard-Seal Eccentric Hemispherical Valve
1. Its structure adopts an eccentric clamping principle, achieving the purpose of tightening, regulating, and closing through a transmission mechanism. The sealing pair is a metal-face ring with hard-face contact sealing. The double eccentric structure ensures that the valve core is located in the ball chamber during opening, resulting in a large flow cross-section and preventing valve erosion. During closing, the valve core is also prevented from being eroded. During opening, the spherical surface of the valve core gradually moves along the valve seat, effectively removing scale buildup and achieving a reliable seal. It is particularly effective for mixed-flow conveying of two-phase flow systems prone to scaling and solid precipitation.
2. The valve hemisphere is made of bimetallic material, with different alloys welded onto the base material. The valve seat is also welded accordingly and specially treated. The sealing surfaces are combined into various types, including corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, and high-strength, to meet the needs of different applications.
3. It provides a tight seal, achieving zero leakage when conveying harmful gases.
4. The valve core of the sealing pair has a compensation allowance. Even after the valve wears down, a slight rotation when closed will still ensure a reliable seal, extending its service life. Furthermore, users can unscrew the compression nut, adjust or replace the valve seat, and it will still be usable, avoiding the drawback of having to scrap the entire unit after valve seal failure.
