Product Overview
The KOZO Super Duplex Axial Flow Check Valve is designed for offshore, seawater and corrosive high-flow systems where fast closure and super duplex metallurgy are required. The disc moves axially and is typically spring-assisted, allowing short travel and rapid response as forward velocity falls.
Why Axial Flow?
Axial-flow check valves are selected where reduced reverse-flow velocity and faster closure are important. Their streamlined flow path can also reduce turbulence compared with conventional swing-check arrangements when correctly sized.

Selection Notes
Non-slam performance depends on flow velocity, spring force, fluid density/compressibility and system transients. Valve sizing should be based on the operating envelope, not line size alone. The exact super duplex ASTM grade must be confirmed for the supplied component.

FAQ
Does “non-slam” mean water hammer is eliminated?
No. The design can reduce reverse-flow velocity and closing impact, but system surge behavior must still be evaluated as part of the complete piping system.
