The PBQ340H manual side-mounted eccentric hemispherical valve features a reasonable design and compact structure. It boasts low flow resistance, excellent sealing performance, and easy and flexible operation. It is particularly suitable for low-pressure pipelines carrying media such as water, sewage, steam, and pulp. It can be equipped with electric or pneumatic actuators to achieve remote automated operation.
PBQ340H Manual Side-Mounted Eccentric Ball Valve Main Advantages:
1. The valve seat’s external step design, combined with the valve body’s internal step design, effectively prevents the ball from jamming with the valve seat or the valve seat from detaching.
2. Large flow area with no flow resistance: After opening, the ball is concealed within the valve cavity, creating a direct flow path without flow resistance. This ensures unobstructed flow, preventing dust accumulation or jamming, minimizing pressure loss, and preventing media buildup within the valve cavity.
3. Easy operation: Due to the eccentric principle, the ball completely separates from the valve seat during opening, eliminating any contact. The opening and closing torque is low, requiring only a 90-degree turn to complete operation, making it easy to operate.
4. Reliable sealing and long service life: Under the action of double eccentricity, the eccentric ball and valve seat tighten as the valve closes, achieving a perfect seal. The hemispherical design of the ball and valve seat provides shearing and extrusion action, effectively removing scale or dirt from the sealing surface and maintaining a good seal. Under the action of double eccentricity, when this valve is opened, the ball and the seat completely separate, with no contact whatsoever. There is no friction between the ball and the seat, effectively overcoming the problem of constant friction between the ball sealing surface and the seat sealing surface in traditional ball valves. Therefore, the sealing surface is well protected. The sealing surface is wear-resistant, and the seat and ball have compensating grooves. Even when the seat wears, a slight rotation after the valve is closed will still ensure a reliable seal. Furthermore, the seat can be adjusted or replaced, extending its service life. This is the most significant feature of the hemispherical valve.

1. General Purpose: Suitable for wastewater treatment, pulp, aluminum fluoride, and urban heating applications with stringent requirements.
2. Oil and Chemical Industry Specific: Suitable for crude oil, heavy oil, and other oil products, as well as corrosion-resistant, two-phase mixed-flow media in the chemical industry. Temperature resistance up to 425℃.
3. Gas Specific: Suitable for the transmission and control of coal gas, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas. The product features a chromium-containing alloy overlay on the sealing ring, ensuring a tight seal and corrosion resistance.
4. Slurry Specific: Suitable for industrial pipelines transporting liquid or solid two-phase mixed flow or liquid transport where chemical reactions result in crystallization or scaling. The product features a chromium-molybdenum or vanadium alloy overlay on the valve body, and chromium, molybdenum, chromium alloy, or stainless steel alloy welding rods overlaid to meet the needs of different slurry transport applications, depending on the customer’s required medium and temperature.
5. Coal Powder and Ash Specific: Suitable for power plants, hydraulic slag removal, or gaseous transport pipeline control. The product requires wear resistance, and the sphere adopts a combined spherical bimetallic design, which has a very high rigidity.
