Product Overview
The KOZO 904L Stainless Steel Ball Valve is designed for corrosive chemical and acid-handling service where UNS N08904 / 904L construction is preferred. Depending on size and pressure class, the valve can use floating or trunnion-mounted ball construction.
Why 904L?
904L is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel containing elevated nickel, chromium and molybdenum with copper additions. It is selected in certain sulfuric-acid, chloride-containing and chemical environments where conventional 316L may not provide enough corrosion margin. Compatibility must still be checked against concentration, temperature and contaminants.
