Q47F Fixed Ball Valve Cast steel stainless steel natural gas soft-seal floating type Compared to floating ball valves, during operation, the force exerted by the upstream fluid pressure on the ball is entirely transferred to the bearing, preventing the ball from moving towards the valve seat. Therefore, the valve seat does not bear excessive pressure, resulting in lower torque, less seat deformation, stable sealing performance, and a longer service life. It is suitable for high-pressure, large-diameter applications. An advanced spring-loaded pre-seat assembly provides self-tightening, achieving upstream sealing. Each valve has two seats, sealing in both directions, thus eliminating flow direction restrictions and allowing for bidirectional installation.
This valve is available in two-piece and three-piece body structures. The middle flange is bolted together, and the seal uses reinforced PTFE embedded in a stainless steel ring. The absence of a spring at the rear of the steel ring ensures the valve seat remains tightly pressed against the ball, maintaining a seal. Neither the upper nor lower valve stem has PTFE bearings, reducing friction and simplifying operation. The small shaft has no adjusting slab at the bottom, ensuring proper contact between the ball and the sealing ring. Full bore: The valve’s flow orifice diameter matches the pipeline’s inner diameter for easy pipeline cleaning.

(1) Effortless Operation: The ball is supported by upper and lower bearings, reducing friction and eliminating excessive torque caused by the huge sealing load formed by the inlet pressure pushing the ball against the sealing seat.
(2) Reliable Sealing Performance: The PTFE single-material sealing ring is embedded in the stainless steel valve seat. A spring at the tail end of the metal valve seat ensures sufficient pre-tightening force for the sealing ring. When the sealing surface wears during valve use, the valve continues to maintain good sealing performance under the action of the spring.
(3) Fireproof Structure: To prevent the PTFE sealing ring from burning due to sudden heat or fire, causing large leaks and fueling the fire, a fireproof sealing ring is installed between the ball and the valve seat. When the sealing ring burns, the spring force quickly pushes the valve seat sealing ring onto the ball, forming a metal-to-metal seal, achieving a certain degree of sealing effect. The fire resistance test meets the requirements of AP16FA and AP1607 standards. (4) Automatic pressure relief function: When the pressure of the medium stagnating in the valve cavity abnormally rises above the spring preload, the valve seat retracts and disengages from the ball, achieving automatic pressure relief. After pressure relief, the valve seat automatically resets.
(5) Drainage pipeline: Drainage holes are provided at both the top and bottom of the valve body to check for valve seat leakage. During operation, when the valve is fully open or fully closed, the pressure in the cavity is released, allowing for direct packing replacement; it also allows for the discharge of stagnant material in the cavity, reducing media contamination of the valve. (6) This valve is designed with an auxiliary valve seat emergency sealing system. If the seal is damaged or an emergency occurs that prevents sealing, the corresponding sealant can be injected into the sealing surface through the auxiliary sealing system to repair the sealing surface and achieve an emergency seal. When the transported medium is unclean or contains a small amount of particles, to protect the sealing surface and ensure a reliable seal, a corresponding cleaning agent or lubricant can be injected into this device to clean the sealing surface. (7) It is widely applicable to the cutting off or flow of media in pipelines used in food, medicine, petroleum, 化学薬品, natural gas, steel, environmental protection, and papermaking industries. Appropriate cleaning agents or lubricants can also be injected into this device to clean the sealing surfaces.
