Q41F American Standard Ball Valve Product Description:

The Q41F American Standard ball valve is mainly used for cutting off or connecting media, and can also be used for fluid regulation and control. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, power, construction, heating, water supply and drainage, and water treatment industries. Valves designed, manufactured, produced, and tested according to American standards are called American Standard valves. They are suitable for various pipelines from Class 150 to Class 1500. The closing element of an American Standard ball valve is a ball, which rotates around the valve body’s centerline to open and close the valve. Ball valves are mainly used in pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and changing the flow direction of media. The main standards are API and ASME; ASTM is a material standard.

Q41F American Standard Ball Valve Product Features

① Anti-flyout valve stem structure: When the medium passes through the valve, the pressure in the valve body cavity may push the valve stem out. To prevent this, a boss structure is provided at the lower part of the valve stem. Even in the event of a fire, if the packing, thrust bearing, or other reasons cause damage to the packing, the medium pressure inside the valve body will ensure a tight seal between the valve stem boss and the valve body seal, preventing a large amount of medium from leaking out from the damaged packing area;

② Anti-static device: When operating the valve, static electricity is generated and accumulates on the ball due to friction between the ball and the non-metallic valve seat (such as PTFE). To prevent static sparks, an anti-static device is installed on the valve to discharge any generated static electricity;

③ Fireproof structure: The floating ball valve seat of our company adopts a unique structure. In the event of a fire, when the non-metallic sealing surface material burns, the metal ring uses the spring force to push the valve seat to fit against the ball and seal, thereby preventing the spread of fire and the outflow of medium;

④ Leak-free structure with central flange: The connection between the valve body and the left body is sealed by a gasket. To prevent leakage at this point due to factors such as fire, high temperature, or vibration, the valve body and the left body are designed to make metal-to-metal contact, forming a stop flange to ensure no external leakage;

⑤ Automatic pressure relief structure: When the medium remaining in the valve cavity experiences abnormal pressure increases due to changes in pipeline system pressure or medium temperature, the medium in the cavity can automatically relieve pressure by pushing the valve seat with its own thrust, thereby ensuring the safety of the valve.
