The KOZO F53 Super Duplex Trunnion Ball Valve is designed for offshore, Meerwasser, desalination and corrosive process isolation where high mechanical strength, chloride resistance and controlled operating torque are important. The trunnion-mounted ball is mechanically supported so seat loading remains more stable as differential pressure increases.
Why ASTM A182 F53?
ASTM A182 F53 is a forged super duplex stainless steel grade associated with UNS S32750. It is commonly selected for chloride-containing and marine environments because of its combination of high strength and resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress-corrosion cracking. Final suitability still depends on temperature, chloride level, fluid chemistry, fabrication quality and the complete valve metallurgy.

Super duplex should not be treated as universally corrosion-proof. Chloride concentration, Temperatur, oxygen content, flow velocity, welding procedure and galvanic interaction with dissimilar metals should be reviewed before final selection.

FAQ
What is the difference between F53 and F51?
F53 is a super duplex grade with higher alloy content and generally higher resistance to localized chloride corrosion than standard duplex F51. The exact grade should be selected from the project corrosion study.
Can the valve be automated?
Ja. Pneumatisch, electric and hydraulic actuator packages can be selected according to valve torque, fail position and control philosophy.
