DYQ340F/HY-16C/P Top-mounted eccentric ball valve
The top-mounted eccentric hemispherical valve utilizes the eccentric valve body, eccentric ball, and valve seat. When the valve stem rotates, it automatically centers itself along a common trajectory. During the closing process, it becomes tighter and tighter, achieving a perfect seal.
DYQ340F/HY-16C/P Top-mounted eccentric ball valve Product Overview
Top-mounted/top-operated eccentric ball valves utilize an eccentric valve body, eccentric ball, and valve seat. As the valve stem rotates, it automatically centers itself along a common trajectory, tightening further during closure to achieve a perfect seal. The ball and seat are completely separated, eliminating wear on the sealing ring and overcoming the problem of constant wear between the sealing surface and the seat in traditional ball valves. Non-metallic elastic material is embedded in the metal seat, providing excellent protection for the metal surface. This product is particularly suitable for media such as steel, aluminum, fibers, small solid particles, pulp, coal ash, and petroleum gas.
DYQ340F/HY-16C/P Top-mounted eccentric ball valve Structural Features
This valve adopts a double eccentric structure, utilizing the wedging effect of the eccentric wheel to achieve the closing and opening of the sealing pair, thus achieving reliable sealing pressure and rapid opening. Its advantages are as follows:
1. Due to the eccentric structure, the rotation radius of all points on the sealing ball is different. During closure, the sealing seat tightens further, forming sufficient sealing pressure and providing excellent bidirectional sealing.
2. The valve disc adopts a fully circular straight-through design, providing a full-flow structure when open, offering excellent flowability and linear adjustment performance.
3. During long-term use, after wear, a new seal can be achieved by adjusting the sealing ring pressure sleeve, causing the sealing spherical surface to move forward by an equal amount.
4. During operation, the operating force is only applied within a very small opening or closing angle. When opening, the operating force decreases rapidly as the sealing pressure decreases, resulting in near-zero wear on the sealing surface.
5. The circular flow channel provides a full-flow cross-section when the valve is fully open, with a circular streamlined structure at the bottom. Deposited debris is carried away by the flowing medium. During closing, it can automatically remove dirt deposited on the sealing surface without affecting the seal.
6. The valve shaft adopts an upper and lower half-shaft design, equipped with a self-lubricating bushing. During valve opening, frictional resistance is low, and opening and closing are flexible. The unique “O” ring and floating shaft seal replace the original butterfly valve’s packing seal, solving the problem of easy wear and tear of the packing seal during valve opening.
