Overview of Electric Wafer Ball Valves

Definition and Composition: An electric wafer ball valve is a combination of a ball valve and an electric actuator, using electric drive to open and close the valve.

Working Principle: After receiving a signal, the electric actuator drives the ball valve to rotate 90 Grad, thus cutting off or connecting the medium.

Applications of Electric Wafer Ball Valves These valves are widely used in petroleum, chemisch, metallurgisch, Kraftwerk, and light industry sectors. They are suitable for automatic regulation or shut-off control of oil, water, Gas, and pulp or fibrous fluids.

Electric wafer ball valves consist of an electric actuator and an ultra-thin ball valve. They are typically suitable for applications with limited installation space. The CHR series actuator used with these valves can directly receive 4-20mA DC or 1-5V DC control signals from computers or industrial instruments. Based on the deviation between the valve position feedback signal and the set value, the actuator drive motor undergoes intelligent step adjustment (PID control) to achieve precise positioning of the valve or other device opening. Simultaneously, it outputs a 4-20mA DC position feedback signal.

Features of Electric Wafer Ball Valves:

Low Fluid Resistance: Kugelhähne haben von allen Ventiltypen den geringsten Flüssigkeitswiderstand.

Good Sealing Performance: Sealing rings made of elastic materials such as PTFE (Polytetrafluorethylen) ensure easy sealing.

Long Service Life: Due to the excellent self-lubricating properties of the materials, ball valves have a long service life.

Anti-static Function: Springs are installed between the ball, stem, and body to discharge static electricity generated during the opening and closing process.
