Product Overview
The KOZO Marine Pneumatic & Hydraulic Trunnion Ball Valve is designed for offshore and marine remote-isolation duties where high operating torque, fail-safe action or emergency shutdown functions require a dedicated actuator package. The reference configuration uses a 12 in Class 300 trunnion valve with A105N body, metal seats, RF ends and a pneumatic/hydraulic operating system.
Actuation Concept
Pneumatic/hydraulic actuator packages can combine stored hydraulic energy, gas pressure or hydraulic control logic to provide remote operation and project-specific fail action. The exact actuator architecture should be selected from valve torque, available utilities, required closing time and safety philosophy.
Key Design Features
- Trunnion-mounted ball: Stable operating torque for larger valve sizes.
- Metal-seat configuration: Reference arrangement for demanding offshore service.
- Pneumatic/hydraulic actuation: Supports remote isolation and ESD integration.
- RF flanged ends: Reference connection for Class 300 piping.
- Split-body construction: Supports maintenance of seats and internals.
